early moring, salzburg August 10, 2013

Last month I found myself wide awake at 5:30 am and decided to go for a short photowalk. Brought some TX-400 and my Hasselblad 500C/M, well worth the effort. Even on black and white imagery the light of the early morning sun does wonders.

A little unrelated: I’ve been pretty busy settling in to my new job at Lomography, but as of now I’ll start posting a little more again :)

Under a Blood Red Sky May 29, 2013

More shots with my full-spectrum converted Pen. The first two are with a deep red filter, the last one is with a 850nm infrared filter.

Spent an evening photographing at the Rathauspark in Vienna. The place is actually illuminated by sodium vapor lamps so the light is more orange than in my pictures here. The colors here are probably mostly caused by cross-processing E6 (Kodak E100G) in C41.

Another one :)

Geek Portrait II

So, here is the first bunch of images from this weekend. These are taken with my Olympus Pen E-P1 which I got converted to full spectrum (hot mirror removed) at the Butterfly House in Vienna, basically the only place where we could find some plants since it’s still very cold here. The images are pretty much straight from the camera, I’m still working out how to color balance infrared/full spectrum photos. The plants are illuminated by artificial light which still seems to have a huge portion infrared light. All of them are handheld.

towards summer April 6, 2013

In anticipation of a warmer season, here is something I shot last july. (related: I’ll never try to post pictures of the ‘last’ snow of a year agin. never. ever.)
