Geek Portrait April 4, 2013

The first in what will hopefully become a portrait series on geeks that I meet. (Processed with Silver Efex 2.)

Burgkino March 20, 2013

A small walk today, finally a day that kinda feels like spring. All shot with a very simple Polaroid Box Camera on (now old) Impossible PX-70 12/11 while walking from the Metalab to the Vienna Technical University.

I’ve got an new toy. It’s a Beirax 6x9cm folding camera with a 105mm lens and a pretty bad viewfinder. But it takes nice, big images on medium format film and is rather compact. If you want one, they are run for ~30€ on ebay.

Snowy Midnight February 13, 2013

Yesterday we probably got the last snow this winter, right at midnight. So I practically had to go out and shoot some frames of the white goodness with my trusty Pen E-P1. So here they are.

One Sunday Shot February 4, 2013

Another sunday, another picture :) Taken with the MHC, our self built camera at the Metalab. We developed this sheet of Provia 100F ourselves in dishes and did not control the temperature all that much, which probably lead to it being a bit on the light side. Still like the colors for the subject matter though.

After going through a few rolls: I’m really digging the look of Provia 400X. Also I like all the colorful lights at the prater at night :)

Shot last saturday when everyone at metalab was building blinking led cubes. Tried out Fuji Neopan 400 exposed at 1600 and push processed with HC-110. So far I like the look.

New Toy: Lomo LC-W November 5, 2012

So I got a new camera, a Lomo LC-W. Main features: 17mm lens, with brutal falloff to the edges and an extremely compact form factor. Here are some frames from my first two rolls.
