California Rain March 8, 2015

Shot in December 2014 along Highway 1 in California while on a road trip with friends. California has few rainy days but this was one.

flies August 12, 2014

A cow trying to get rid of flies. I think the motion blur works rather well here. Though I have to admit I was a bit lucky with that since the shutter speed was more dictated by the amount of available light than my foresight of motion blur.

reflections II July 31, 2014

Here is the first image of my reflections series. These are architectural photographs, all shot in way where the main subect is reflected in some human made surface. Expect to see more in this line of work in the upcoming weeks!

abandoned cabinet July 1, 2014

So here is a lucky accident. This is a frame from a roll of E6 that I processed myself. Somehow I managed to mess up the roll (probably the chemicals where just overused and too cold) in a way where everything that should be black is this brown/red color. It works rather well with this particular image, but also surprisingly well with the rest of the roll. It took me a while to scan it though because after seeing it the first time I was kinda disappointed.

Here is a recent shot I took in Vienna. It’s on a roll of fairly overexposed Lomochrome Purple (I did not meter correctly). I still adore the otherworldly colors the film gives at what I would guess is EI 50.

Shot on the 1st of May in between the rising glass and steel towers at Donau City. I have to say I like the colors of the Redscale 100 a lot :)

white fields April 19, 2014

Something digital for a change of pace. I used my full spectrum converted Pen with the blue Tiffen filter #47. The filter lets through blue light and infrared light but blocks everything in between which gives an interesting look. White balance was set to the foliage, not much else done in post processing.
