National Palace of Culture October 16, 2016
A few weeks ago I attended Eruko 2016 which took place at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria. Given the astetics of this monumental soviet era building I had to sneak away from the conference for a bit to take some pictures.

Sheep September 5, 2016
A flock of sheep in Lindabrunn at noon. I’m getting to a point where I can get decent color infrared photos from my full spectrum camera without a filter. I process these in lightroom basically upping saturation for red and shifting the hues a bit.

Wien Westbahnhof, 1am January 10, 2016
Westbahnhof used to be one of Vienna’s most frequented trainstations right up until last December when long range connections where moved to the new cenral station. Now it’s somewaht dorment and makes for an interresting photo subject during foggy winter nights.

Hallstatt November 16, 2015
If you are ever in the area, pay Hallstatt (and the other villages in that area) a visit. It is pretty amazing to see these villages built on very little even ground between the huge mountains behind and the lakes before them. (On a different note: I like Delta 100 in HC-110 more and more, maybe I should give Delta 400 another go.)

Neverland November 13, 2015
These are two images taken on a recent roadtrip. The scenery looks all gloomy despite beeing shot on an overcast day in the afternoon (also thanks to the super high contrast film).

On Top Of The City October 30, 2015
Looking into one of the uppermost appartments at the Hochhaus Herrengasse from it’s balcony. The building was Viennas first highrise. When it was built in the 1930s it was mandated that the actual highrise itself should be invisible from the street level leading to a very particular shape. You can find more on this on the german Wikipedia if you are interrested. Shot at Vienna Open House 2015.

Am Kraftwerk October 26, 2015
A shot from Saturday. The power plant in the background is the Kraftwerk Korneuburg and the road leading there is actually called ‘Am Kraftwerk’. This was the first roll from a brick of super long (1994) expired Agfa APX-25 that I recently aquired, I’m actually supprised how well the film still works.

Vienna 1920s Architecture October 22, 2015
The Johann Witzmann Hof is one of the bigger ‘Gemeindebauten’ built after World War I (completed in 1927) in Vienna.

Seestadt in August 2015 October 16, 2015
The development at Seestadt that I have visited before is apparently reaching completion. People have started moving into the newly built housing and have started using the recreational area enven though most of it is still fenced in. I took these photos back in August on expired Ektachrome Panther 100 from 2002. I really like the warme tone that the film gives to the late summer scene.
