waterslide again April 16, 2012

My first roll of Fuji Pro 160 NS. Shot und clody conditions, the muted colors where exactly what I was going for. Here you can see another perspective of the waterslide in the Polaroids from four days ago. Also: We developed this film (and a whole bunch of other C41 film) at the metalab, this sunday :)

these wonderful witches April 14, 2012

From another fotowalk around Wallersee. PZ 600 was the first Impossible film I used and I still love it’s gorgeous sepia tones.

feet April 10, 2012

Two pairs of feet. This might evolve into a more comprehensive series. These are shot on expired (2003) Agfa CT Precisa, gives a nice old look.

happy snowy easter April 8, 2012

The Polaroid was, as usual, shot with my SX-70 and Impossible film. Since I’ve switched to Lightroom 4 nothing worked (got an ‘Assertion Failed’ on export) until I realized that the installer set the permissions wrong in my Library folder. So If you have similar problems, you might want to check that. Happy easter everyone.

Snow! Colored eggs! Polaroid!

a different take April 7, 2012

So here is something I’ve found quite interesting: When I took the two Polaroids that I posted here on April 3rd, I also had my OM 2 with me, loaded with Ilford Pan F. I took almost the exact same pictures with the OM to see how those compared and to have something in case the Polaroids wouldn’t turn out. (As said before, taking Polaroids at -10?C is kind of hard especially with the new Impossible Films.) These are a lot more contrasty, 3:2 and obviously black and white. I like them as well, but for different reasons.

Chinese Lantern April 6, 2012

Taken in october of 2011, on the fantastic PX 680 Beta 1 Film from Impossible with my SX-70. I think this was the last frame of the Beta film I’ve shot. (damn.) But the current PX 70 is pretty close :)

Another skip, another set of two pictures. These are once more taken on the shores of the Wallersee, but in Neumarkt. The Bricks you see are the remains of an old hotel, which burnt down about 40 Years ago.

Had a really busy day yesterday: soldering, taking pictures for http://www.hackerspaceshop.com/ and making large format prints. In the middle of all of that I forgot to post a picture. To make up for that, here are two pictures for today: Both where taken in January 2012, in Seekirchen am Wallersee (the latter being lake providing the ice in the pictures). I really like the current generation of Impossible’s PX-70 even though it is kind of hard to use at -10?C.

From my second roll with my ‘new’ Leica IIf. Taken through a soviet lens on long expired Kodak Gold 400, developed in long expired C-41 chemicals. (This is probably as Lomo as it gets with an Leica.)
